Official completion of cellar

Even though it is not really completed, it can be measured, and today was the official turnover of the cellar. Streif needs to confirm all of the measurements before it tries to install a house on top of it. Knecht, the cellar firm, needs to patch up the overlapping areas with waterproofing stuff.

I have one shot of the cellar guy doing some measuring inside. The bit of water in there is due to rain coming in at the holes at the top, not leakage.

Took a week off to visit the states for personal reasons and they seemed to have gotten busy on the cellar. Just before I left, they managed to get the foundation in. Don't ask me how it was done as it was raining, freezing, or snowing all the time. I guess they just needed one good day in between all the miserable ones. I wasn't even checking every day since I thought it was impossible to do anything based on the first delay. This is also after I gave them the go-ahead to put some sort of protection between the bottom of the hole and the foundation. This made it easier with the wet, pumped out ground and is safer in the long run.
